At Strathe Veterinary Hospital we offer a full
range of health care services for cats and dogs. Nothing is more important to us
than the health of your pets. Our goal is to provide them with the very best medical and
surgical care possible.
Our doctors are highly
trained and skilled in many different areas of veterinary medicine. Continuing education
is an ongoing process at Strathe Veterinary Hospital. We are able to perform complex
medical/surgical procedures because of the training received by our doctors and health
care team. |

Laser Surgery
 |
Laser surgery has revolutionized the approach to
many veterinary conditions. While traditional surgery still has its place in
therapy,
lasers produce less pain, less bleeding, less swelling, reduced risk of
infection and a more rapid return to normal activities. In many cases, it is
safer and more precise, disturbing only a very thin layer of tissue while
leaving the surrounding areas unaffected.

Videoscope
The electronic videoscope is a special
instrument that allows us to visualize certain areas that cannot be seen by
the naked eye such as ears, reproductive organs, the nose and the throat. We
have the ability to remove polyps or growths in small areas of the body. We
can also videotape or take pictures of these parts of the body to educate
clients about their pets' illness.

Radiology
 |
Radiology is one of the most useful diagnostic tools available to the
veterinarian. Veterinary radiology is central to diagnosing and solving many
medical problems.
Strathe Veterinary Hospital has a state of the art in-house radiology department in order to
provide a fast, more efficient diagnosis. Diagnostic imaging provides a
non-invasive opportunity to visualize the internal organs and bones of your
pet using x-rays.

Strathe Veterinary Hospital has a comprehensive in hospital laboratory.
Having our own laboratory allows 90% of our blood work to be done in the
clinic saving you time on diagnosis and the expense of an outside lab. The
laboratory is an integral part in helping our veterinarians evaluate
thoroughly the health of their patients.
