Unfortunately, fleas and ticks are already being seen this year. Remember, even if your pet stays mostly indoors, it is not protected from fleas since fleas can actually hitch a ride on our shoes or pants in order to get to our pets. Not only can humans carry fleas; but wildlife can also bring fleas into our yards. Fleas can be an annoyance to our pets. Not only does their bite cause pets to scratch, bite, and chew at their skin, fleas also spread disease.

 

Ticks too can transmit deasease and are a nuisance to your pet.
